Statement on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
We are all facing difficult times as a result of the worldwide COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. As an organisation that supports everyone who calls the National Bereavement Service, we recognise and share the concern around coronavirus. However, we also understand the importance of demonstrating that we will continue to remain operating in a “open for business as usual” environment.
In these uncertain times, we wanted to assure everyone using our services that we are committed to continuing to assist all callers and any website enquiries with providing guidance and support following a bereavement. We want to assure you that we are we are committed to answering every call we receive.
We cannot predict what might happen as a result of the coronavirus and we are not immune to the potential impact of the outbreak. Therefore, we felt it sensible to ensure that we inform you that we are considering what potential impact there might be and of any possible contingencies.
The implications of the virus on individuals and businesses have been the subject of much media speculation and, without repeating this, it does have the potential to directly impact on our call handlers. However, we wanted to assure you that we will do our best to try and limit any impact.
Alongside taking sensible precautions, and keeping yourself up to date with the latest Government and NHS information and advice, we encourage all of our clients, callers and friends to do what they can to support each other, as we all continue to navigate through the ongoing situation.
Our clients and their customers as well as the general public are needing our support more than ever and we cannot emphasise enough that we are here to help anyone that needs any guidance following a bereavement or a legal service so please do call us.
Finally, please keep safe and well and take care of each other! We are here when you need us!
